Hi
Are you a fan of the late great ball player Larry Doyle
Or are you selling that card
Have one of his bats, would love the card to go with it
Thanks
Rick
Rick, Thanks for reading & asking your question. Having grown up in Saranac Lake & played Larry Doyle baseball there, I do have a bit of a special interest in Larry Doyle & his cards. I’ve collected baseball cards my whole life. The Mecca Double Folder Larry Doyle in the story is part of that vintage set I have built to near completion & is one of my prime collection display cards. Thus, mine is not for sale. However, it is very cool that you have one of his bats. I can fully understand you wanting to add that card to a Doyle display with it. That would be very cool. So, I just perused Ebay for you. It appears there are several nice Mecca Double Folder Larry Doyle cards just like mine available there now, in a variety of price ranges, depending on what condition you seek & how much you are looking to spend. Looks like they start in price at around $70.00, going up to $300 or more. Ebay is where I bought mine. I suggest you might want to start your search for one there. Just beware, any Mecca Doyle priced really cheap is likely a reprint. There are also several Larry Doyle 1914 B18 felt blankets available on Ebay. Prices for them range from $40-$300 or more, once again based on condition. Thanks again for reading & reaching out. Good luck in your search!
